leftovers.

Classes will take place at a private home kitchen
volunteered by one of our students in central Tucson.

OUR
VEGAN COOKING PHILOSOPHY
Our
goal is to teach classic cooking methods using ingredients
that are completely vegan - no meat, eggs, dairy,
honey or other animal products. We strive to make
the best-tasting vegan food possible using the vegan
ingredients available to us through local and mail-order
sources. None of the classes is intended to be specifically
low-fat, low-sugar, low-sodium, all-organic, low-carb,
gluten-free, or fulfill other special dietary needs
or preferences. While vegan cooking is by its very
nature more healthful than the Standard American
Diet, our primary goal is to eliminate animal products
from awesome recipes. We leave your health choices
up to you. Participants are welcome to adapt any
of our recipes made during class to meet their personal
preferences at home, and we are happy to provide
suggestions for substitutions where appropriate.
ALLERGY NOTICE
FOOD
ALLERGIES: This class may not be suitable for people
with allergies or sensitivities to wheat/gluten,
nuts, or soy. If you have food allergies, please
consult with the instructor before registering.
We are not able to accommodate personal food preferences
in our recipe preparation during class, but we can
make suggestions for substitutions where appropriate.
CAT
ALLERGIES: The class location is shared with several
household cats, so if you have allergies to animals,
please consult with the instructor before registering.
REGISTRATION
& CANCELLATION POLICY
Pre-registration
and pre-payment is required. We cannot refund any
portion of the registration fee if you miss a class
for any reason. If we cancel a class due to low
enrollment, we will refund the fees for that session,
or you may apply the fee to a future class registration.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for receipt of refund.
